Bezuidenhouts pass
« on: May 19, 2019, 08:04:58 pm »
After doing in excess of 20 passes since the 9th may Tiaan and myself  thought it would be fun to go do bezuidenhouts pass on our bikes . X1 africa twin and bmw 1200gsa . How wrong we were . Lets just say that it took us 3h30min to climb  over the 5km of loose washed out rocks . It made breedsneck and the hell look like little kids stuff . We should have turned around after the first incident.

Forgot to mention that was after riding gravel from Underberg to Nottingham rd which has two stunning unmarked passes near mpiele. We were already tried and really stupid when we tackled bezuidenhouts . Will try post a few pics later

Check it out, this was made by Gina's in Geluksburg.
We shared some of our videos and photos with her, so she made the video. Showing Gavin and my self falling all over the place in bezuidenhouds pass.
But also when you are visiting Geluksburg and you want to stay over. This is the place where you want to stay.
Very friendly and pleasant people.

The pass looks like it's in even worse condition now?

This was in 2015, just to compare:
