Switching from 1190 r to 1290 r

I have got the itch. Is it really that much better? Can ex 1190 owners comment?

Ok it is really that good and scratching did not help for the itch

Thoughts so far?

Could not understand what the fuss was all about until i rode it, to sum it up it is a superduke with suspension. My 1190 has all the bells and whistles but the 1290 is just miles ahead. The bike feels lighter and acceleration is much crisper. Also picks up the front nearly as easy as the superduke. I just love it. Cant wait to get it on the dirt

Haha yeh the power is awesome.  It ruins you though, I really WANT to want a 790 but it just felt a bit meh (unless you hitting speed bumps ) onroad.

I had the 1290R and 1290 Superduke at the same time.
Spoils you. Nothing ever pulls again  like these bikes.

But must say, the Superduke has a wee bit moe oemfh than the R
