I have joined this forum in November 2009, I have enjoyed what I have read here and what others have experienced. I am not big on admin and are definitely not a writer, but like looking at the pictures so it is time I share some of my own. I have always been battling to post pictures but with the help of Noneking I hope I now understand a bit more.

Me and some mates have embarked on an adventure that we have had during 2017 and this time around I would like to share the pictures and experiences. I am based in Mbombela and our Adventure will be taking place in Dullstroom. Our first outing was a Recce of routes around Dullstroom where the event will be held during Sept 2019, was on Tuesday and this is what we found.

The mountains in the Lowveld are heaven to ride but the dusty roads of the Highveld, are pretty close.

This weekend we will go back to see some more amazing places.

Still one of my favorite places to ride within reach of Joburg.
What event are you talking about?
Can you share the locations of these pics?

On Saturday morning I left Nelspruit at 07:30 to meet up with the guys at Dulldtroom. On the mountain, Long Tom Pass I was greeted with this picture  and was reminded how blessed I am to live in this part of the country. I was also reminded that the winter is here.

When arriving at Dullstroom it was decided that we should first need to have something to eat before we set off.

Eventually after that we managed to get going.

Then the road disappeared and it became interesting.

Late afternoon we arrived at our overnight destination Highside in Tonteldoos. Cold ones were enjoyed and a very lekker braai was had, thanks Pieter it was great.

Sunday morning very early I was awoken by the sound of a very angry motorcycle starting. The first frost for me this winter and the noise of farm animals. We started stirring and left Tonteldoos for Dullstroom at 7:30.

That is right 2,5 degrees. After a very enjoyable breakfast at the Dullsroom Inn we set off on the route that we had to complete by 12:00 to meet the tar riders from our club for lunch in Dullstroom.

We achieved what we set out to do for the weekend and had a lot of fun doing so.Till next time. :ricky:
