So okay, you'll either like the bike or you won't, but there's a sick irony in the commentary by the BMW design chief.

"These days it's easy to make something complicated, but very difficult to make it simple. And simple is what many buyers want."

Isn't that sad?
Succumb not to the erosion of those born of unconsecrated union.

"Two Wheels, an engine and a place to sit." What more do you need?

2021 a milestone. 60 years a biker.

Big bore Push rod engine. Man when you rev this thing it might throw you over with the Traditional BMW Gyro effect. Beautiful though.

If you want another perspective on it, here's the article I wrote for Bike EXIF from the reveal at the Concorso d'Eleganza:

LOL well I popped in for my annual check-in, saw the bike being discussed, and thought I'd chime in.

It is pretty special though. Seeing it in the flesh was a real treat, it's loaded with very nice touches and details.

@the_wes  whatcha mean "Seeing it in the flesh"?

I wouldn't be ashamed to ride that, looks so clean and minimalist.

You would need $$$ to afford that.  I cannot wait to see how the production bike is 'loaded' with crap.
