Harley does not sell motorcycles.... i guess BMW does not either these days.

For all the harley detractors , its ironic to see most of the big brands build substitutes to attract the cruiser guy money....

If i had the cash , i would buy this BMW, but i have not the cash nor the space.

Edit: i went to the bmw ZA website, price is indicated but you cant actually buy one yet.

Once its available and if one can get the base model for 299k i will be surprised. Looking at the list of extras a lot of items are extra so it will be a very basic model at 299k. Everything is extra.

If I'm reading the website correctly, that R299 900 seems to be for the 'First Edition' model, which includes extra chrome trim, pin stripes, etc. So most of what you see is in the price.

Adaptive headlight, heated grips and reverse feature all cost extra. BMW South Africa are in habit of speccing things like this out the box, if they do, then it'll deffos come in at more than the currently listed price.

R300 000 is one helluva lot of money for a bike that will do nothing really well at all.

A superbike handles incredibly well, it performs well and it stops well.

A adventure bike does tar and dirt fairly well.

What does this thing do?

Just cruise?

Supersizing, the Yank way.

I agree. Reminds me almost of WW2 dispatcher bikes. If I had the money I would be sorely tempted. Gonna be 19k here which is a lotta loot

I can see myself posing with this bike. Grow my mullet , with ww2 german helmet  and pilot goggles, cut of denim jacket with long fur sown onto the collar with a few badges,black stovepipes and my dark blue crocs . Lekker   :ricky:
