I think BMW never intended this to be a volume seller, but a engineering work of art in my opinion which will be good to ride in a 100 years from now.
So i like the idea that a bike like this exists, guys who buys this probably owns a few classics, be it cars or aircraft or whatever..

Whilst meanwhile another manufacturer, or their agents, dealers or importers keep eager customers waiting for 5 years to pay a premium price for the bike they so obviously want.
