If anyone knows a cheap easy way to make the tank look good again please let us know how to repair or remove fine scratches off the plastic tank .

Just being told to fill the tank with fuel and warm the scratched area's with a heat gun till it is slightly shinning.  I will let you guys know if I put in for a insurance claim .

Pictures? Autosol and Magures both make plastic polishes and conditioners that are excellent.

BTW for future use either perforated non-slip bootliner (Midas, Macro etc) or an old yoga mat cut to shape for tank bags and soft luggage that contacts plastics. Reduces movement and prevents scratching.  :thumleft:
