Because, motorbikes...

I wonder where that road goes? And that, has usually made all the difference. Appologies to Mr Frost

We ride different bikes for different reasons, yet it is the same thing that brings us together.

Nice one!  :thumleft:
Reminds me of my Jawa, the first real motorbike I brought home - well, towed home, behind my 50cc, from quite a few villages and towns afar, a trek and a schlepp rolled into one.
It didn't run, no spark, and I kicked the living shit out of it over the next few weeks.
I grew a calve which the hulk would have been jealous about, to little avail, and of course I was the joke at our dinner table  >:(
But then it ran..... and my lordylord, WHAT a power this brute had!!!!!!!!!!!

This bike taught me the ins & outs of an ignition, and after various visits to the grumpy old toppie who ran the only local (it was a small village we lived in) bicycle shop who also serviced helpmytraps (that's mopeds for the rooinekke  ;)) he clearly got gatvol from me pestering him - and told me really how it all was supposed to work.
Worked too, it was my last asking-him visit, and next he saw me riding that Jawa-heap through the dorp: way too young, not even a moustache, and the local speedcop could not keep up on his bicycle  ;D
Remember his stern speech though when he caught me later, he 'would tell my Dad!' if I didn't stop  :lol8:
