Dullstroom and Surrounding area
« on: July 16, 2019, 10:53:58 am »
My Wife and I are taking a break this weekend to Dullstroom. Havent been in that area in like almost 15 years.....

Is there any interesting places we should stop by other than the normal places?

We will be 2-up on my S10.....
Any info will be appreciated......

- Mayfly Restaurant in Dullstroom (Steaks and pizzas are amazing)
- Brewery in Dullstroom (last spot on the left as you are leaving Dullstroom towards Lydenburg)
- Tonteldoos has a nice coffee shop
- Dunkeld Estate is a beautiful spot to visit and have lunch (especially way at the back at the equestrian part of the estate; nice restaurant they have there)
- Just before Dullstroom coming from Belfast there is a Bird rehabilitation center.  Always nice to visit there.  They have shows as well

If you travel by bike, make sure you lock it up at night with chains. Lots of bikes been stolen recently in Dullstroom, even out of lock-up garages. Just ask the local police.

Don't know the road but looks like a moerse detour.

Edit:
You have to go back to Belfast anyway to get to the N4 as well.

So might be the same time duration
