CB 550 four K
Kinda bought/kinda inherited from my Wife's step-mom's father.  "No it's 100% perfect. Runs great"

Could not get it to even drive under it's own steam over a slight hump in the driveway when i went to fetch it. Suspected dodgy fuel in the carb. Then rusty tank etc. Turns out it's bent valves from the old boy taking the rocker cover off and not putting it back in the correct way. AND then he tightened the ever living fuck out of every bolt on the motor.

So I bought another VERY dodgy looking on on Facebook for parts.  Haven't had a chance to look at it.  Theoretically, I just need a Headgasket to get 1 running bike out of the 2.

Not that rare, but still collectable, I have a 1977 Yamaha DT250D,  in the final stages of restoration.

I have a 1977 Yamaha DT250E, almost complete, in boxes.

Also a 1979 Yamaha DT250F, almost complete, in boxes.

And a 1975 Yamaha DT250B twinshock, complete except for missing headlamp and front fender.

And a 1976 Yamaha DT175c, complete and original, though not in good condition paintwise.

And a 1976 Yamaha RD400c, complete, but in boxes, excellent condition, but needs full engine recon.

And a 1970 Suzuki T500 mk3 Titan, almost complete, but needs a rebuild. Motor is good.

And a 1973 Suzuki TS400 Apache, also complete, with spare engine/carb.

And a 1980's Yamaha QB50 Vogel, in boxes.

And I am always looking around.

Please tell me about any Yamaha DT's you guys know of?

Maybe not so rare, but was very collectable to me, as it is similar to the first big bike I owned. Always regretted selling it. Searched a long time for the right one. 40 years old and ticks like a Swiss watch.

Don't have anymore - but I had....and they where all used as intended, mostly

Suzuki PE175

People say nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day. And doing nothing often leads to the very best kind of something.

The first one is my mini trail. First bike I rode (not this exact one) as a kid. My grandfather had 2 on his farm. 100% original on original tyres. The story is that this one belonged to Claerhout but I don't have any proof.

The second one is the first bike my dad bought for @Noneking when we were kids and it's still in my garage. It needs full resto

Third one is my R50/2 that I stupidly sold for peanuts to fund racing. Well maybe not so stupid then  :lol8:

I disagree - I Think the 200R is becoming both rare and very collectable. In the right condition of course. The farm bike thumper thats been painted by the kids and seen 43 different back seats is not. An original version remains my favorite bike ever.
