Fuel leak
« on: July 26, 2019, 05:58:03 pm »
Just discovered a fuel leak at one of the two fittings at the bottom of the tank on my 610TE Fe. The red one had been "repaired" with something but is leaking. Is this safe to ride or does it needs urgent attention? Wanted to ride to Padstal tomorrow but don't want to set the bike on fire...

That is a repair with Pratleys Epoxy Steel Paste. These fittings are vulnerable and I think quite a mission to replace - I think I recall a fix with brass ones. Post on Cafe Husky 610/630 four stroke thread you may well get the answer there.
