Advanced Rider Training - Gauteng
« on: August 01, 2019, 05:04:48 am »
Many years ago I did one for cars.
Brought my insurance down by 10% a month, was a huge amount of fun, and the techniques taught have helped every day.
With regards to bikes, aside from the 1 day BMW, get your licensed tomorrow course, I am completely self taught.
Is there anyone you know of that deals with advanced motorcycle ON ROAD riding training.
I am not specifically looking for speed training, I am after advanced safety techniques etc.
If speed is part of the whole course, then an added bonus.

BMW Rider Academy offers a variety of on-the-road courses aimed at riders of different skill levels. Anything from novice to advanced and I believe there is a course aimed specifically at defensive riding.
I'm from Kathu but planning to do their Refresher course the next time we visit the in-laws in Centurion. They do offer a Proficiency and Advanced combo which is R2500 total instead of R1600 each (not sure of exact amount).
