We got on the road at 8:15, about 1.25 hrs behind schedule........... not bad!  We stayed up drinking beer until 2:30am.  I was up at 6:30 drinking Gatorade and snorting rails of rehydrate!

Near Wooster, Ohio

Apple Creek, Ohio, I stopped to say hi to some clients of mine.  They have a beautiful farm.

My clients finally fell the old oak or maple tree from their front yard.  It is believed to have been 240+ years old.  They cut the trunk in slabs, each child will have a table made from the slabs.

We attempted to eat lunch at my favorite restaurant in Ohio, unfortunately, a two hour wait.  Not happening.

Since we couldn’t lunch at Mrs Yoders Kitchen, we decided on the best Reuben in the area at the Ville in Steubenville, Ohio.

Big oil, all your magnificent travel pics show a land that is immaculate, trimmed and tended, scrubbed, polished and freshly painted.

I'm sure you must be working as an ambassador for Tourism, and they're gonna give you a huge award!   :lol8:

Thanks, Sir Jaybiker, I would love to photograph the worst parts of America for you, I just choose to avoid the areas I’m not wanted.

Yeah, perhaps Uncle Sam will reduce my taxes for promoting tourism!

PPG Paints arena, home of the famous Pittsburgh Penguins hockey team is next door to our hotel, along with UPMC Medical Center and BNY MELLON are the skyscrapers towering above PPG Arena.

We visited a biker bar, Jack’s Bar, met a friend of mine there, Cyndi, she’s a stewardess for Americans airlines.  We had fun, lots of laughter.

I should’ve written former clients.

I purchased land from these folks years ago on behalf of a large oil and nat gas corporation.

Arrived late and tired in WDC.  I didn’t get to sleep until 4:30 this morning.  Slept until 9:30, left Pittsburgh at 10:30.

Instead of all the aforementioned locales I intended to visit......... not happening.

Here’s a few from our drive in..

Washington Monument
