Sunday 4 August 2019

I needed a break after dealing with emotions from friends fire.

I decided to mount the old BMDubya.

I stopped at a local swim hole on the Kalamazoo River.

That's when this crew of at least 10 piss ass drunk youngins had to come over and say hi.  I asked them if they wanted to pose for pics for you dogs.  They obliged.

Looking North

Looking south

Then to Round Lake to get you dogs some peekchas of Caribbean like water.  I was too late, you have to capture pics when sun is overhead.

So I switched this pic to B&W.  Notice the T-storm in the distance.

Notice the people still on water.  I hear a little commotion in the sky.  Rule of thumb here is if you can hear thunder, you are in lighting strike distance.  Apparently this man has no fear as he grabs onto steel pole to extend his flag for a friend on shore.  :imaposer:

He can't get enough of his metal flagpole!

Yeah, let's not get to any safety, lets take little girl tubing  :patch:

I decide it is time to leave before I witness something I don't want to see.

Appears storm is moving North Northeast, so I head West to Longhorn farm to capture some peekchas of Longhorn Bull.

That is when I notice something swinging side to side under white and brown Longhorn.

Yes, it appears I share same size anatomy as this Longhorn  :peepwall:

No doubt about it, like looking in mirror after exiting shower.

I say to Longhorn, nice to see I have family over this way cuz.

Then I rode to Brembo N.A. in Homer, Mitten

Here's pic of new foundry Brembo had built because local owners from my ex-girlfriends family wanted to sell their foundry and retire.

I went back home from Brembo, parked bike in barn, chilled for rest of evening.

To be cont'd dogs.  Next installment will be more pics of Joe and Becca's renovation.

Have a great day, my favorite madda dawgs!

That longhorn has tiny 'nads compared to a proper South African Blue Bull  :deal:  :pot:

That Mann House certainly is pretty  :drif:

We see drunk rednecks here all year round, only ours wear less clothing  :lol8:

That B&W pic is really nice! :thumleft:
When still young and crazy I used to go the quarry outside Pretoria in the afternoons and wait for the thunderstorm to pass and then go crazy with my windsurfer in the strong winds! :peepwall:

I also like that B&W picture a lot. Other great pictures as well.  :thumleft:

From my own knowledge, and little experience, booze and water are usually a recipe for extreme cleverness.

Tuesday 6 Aug 2019

I had not slept well the night before, 4 hours approximately.

I drove south southwest to Indiana to visit a nature park I had been wanting to visit.

I found Delt Church Park near Topeka, Indiana.

Backside of entrance.

I decided to walk counterclockwise on nature path.

Notice what some donkey left behind.  Likely didn't retrieve the empty bottle because it is under poison ivy.

I disposed of water bottle in trash bin next to outhouse, I like the style.

I also get worked up when people just dump their rubbish!
I picked up some trash on the top of a hill at marble camp in northern Namibi when there last!
That is a remote and sensitive area where you do not expect that type of behaviour!
Good on you for disposing off it! :thumleft:

I decided to sit and listen to nature under pavilion.  Appears users and staff do nice job of keeping tables and grill clean.

Started to rain a little, I didn't have a rain jacket, so I began walking towards bakkie.

Along the way I see some jackass used grill but didn't clean up after.  ::)

Kenneth and Rita have graced this facility with their names  ::)

Der my big black Bertha

I'd run over a galvanized fence staple the previous day, had to switch to spare tire.  I had heard of an old mom n pop tire shop that has a barn full of used rubber, but I had no idea where the place was located.
