Thanks for the wonderful insight into your country BO. That little TS125, very neat apart from the superficial corrosion, brought back some memories. My own TS185 was virtually identical. Hope some buyer gives it the required TLC before it gets worse.
The forum is much the better for your ban having been rescinded, oh and just btw, we seem to share the same name.  :thumleft:

Wow bringing back memories... Stayed in Muskegon for 8 years and studied at Ferris State. Thanks for posting BO!

Ur welcome sir, one of my closest friends is a graduate of Ferris state.

Do you miss spring summer and fall?

Iím assuming you donít miss the winter air blowing off Lake Michigan?

Hi BO,
Spring - Good: End of winter. Warmer temps. End of cabin fever. Bad: Slush puppy roads and sidewalks everywhere, dirty.
Summer - Good: Beautiful green woods everywhere. Lakes everywhere to enjoy. King salmon fishing on Lake MI, sunset booze cruises with loud music and friends, cruising with boat/Jetskis between pubs. Lots of festivals. Beautiful ladies out and about. Bad: Heat combined with humidity can get really bad. Oh, and bugs...
Fall - Good: Beautiful colours all around in the woods. Temperature really great at that time of year. Bad: Cleaning leaves until you want to run away. You know winter is coming.
Winter - Good: MI is beautiful in winter with snow covering everything. Interesting variations of precipitation and ice/snow. Snowmobiling through the woods from pub to pub - unbeatable. Bad: Lake effect snow gets OOOLD!! It just doesn't stop. And man the cold. If I remember correctly my coldest temps with wind chill was -47.

I'll see if I can dig up a few pics and post. Don't want to intrude on your cool thread...

I then drove over to Torch Lake, voted one of the most beautiful lakes in the world (google for overhead pics of Caribbean like waters and sugar sand bottom.

Saw some cool trucks while near the boat ramp

I then drove from Torch Lake over towards Grayling to get some pics of logging by old methods.  Unfortunately, it was a holiday weekend and the camp was at max capacity, so just the one pic of a horse drawn logging thingamabob!

All campgrounds were maxed so I drove back home, it was nice to get away for a couple of days.

Iím in Shipshewana, Indiana today.  Ship or Wana is what we shorten the name to.  Ship is Amish country, one of the largest in the nation.  The Amish have done well for themselves here.  People come from all over the country to visit to see how the Amish and Mennonite live.

Anyway, hereís some pics from the places we stopped today for your viewing pleasure.

Shoe, boot, and fabric store.

Blue Gate Inn and Conference Center

Then I visited Chupp Auction House to see if theyíve anything cool, lots of cool antiques, especially the Shell and Mobil gasoline pumps.

Iím betting this antique Coca-Cola sign will sell for a few thousand dollars. Iím thinking the sign is circa 1940ish.
