So time has come to share my build. (because I'm running into trouble)
History : Traded a R90S (worse for wear) for a trailer full of spares with Dan Lombard.
Idea : Build a HPN derivative with 1100GS swingarm
Frame : Already changed to Hpn specs (but being changed again currently to fit rear shock, discbrake)
Suspension : WR frontforks and 21"rim; rearshock rebuild by Mike to fit swingarm, according to Harry's spec.
1100 hub, but rim is issue, only alternative is to import specially made, want 17" centre laced
Engine & gearbox : R80 rebuild by Volker, with rebuild carbs (so the heart is 100%)
Tank : Still awaiting my Freak order
Handlebars : Pofadder with R100GS controls
Subframe/seat/cockpit : To be build from scratch
Electrics : Eish!!
I must share : Dan helped me with friend Dudley to copy the coupling between R80 gearbox flange and 1100 swingarm : I'm very impressed with result
