Anyone seen any confirmation that Toby will ride next year?

I suspect he may soon be in a cage ...

I also doubt he will ride it again. Cage though.

Now Honda can sign Skyler Howes, that way the factory Honda team will be stacked with 2 riders with superior DNA.  :peepwall: :pot:

Ross Branch would have superior DNA ... Skyler is sure to have Trumponian genes.  :pot:

I'm a fan of the Botswanan, Ross rode some great stages, is an incredible rider, showed consistency, and displayed true passion in the footage recorded when it was over for him due to a broken engine.  Man, I felt for him, his tears were all the effort, the training, and focus he'd worked for just to have a technical issue crush his dreams.  I've no doubt the Kalahari Ferrari will be back in 2022.  If he remains at Monster Yamaha, I hope they provide the racers a true works factory laboratory bike to compete with.

I listened to a KTM management conversation where they specifically mentioned that they, will this year invest in the future in terms of their riders. I wonder if that was a hint that Toby has left?

.

Could be, he doesn't have anything left to prove, he's probably tired of injuries and wants to move on.

Yeah keep your shitty anti trump comments out of here. :deal: This is the racing section, not the section for whiny snowflakes.  :snorting:

Skyler actually is not half a bad rider but and he also had a spot of bad luck in the past, but I have to say he just does not stand out as much just yet. This next one will have to be where he shows his stuff.  Take Jonah Street, another American for eg: A very nice guy, super quiet and humble, but rode so smooth & fast and his navigation was amazing. He never got a factory seat but he did win a few stages. I was lucky enough to spend a week with him at a rally school once, boy that guy can navigate. He used to train riding road books with the tulips blocked out and he was still way, way faster than the rest of us both at navi and riding. :P

Jonah won a few stages in 2009/10 as a privateer on a bike paid for by fans like us. In end his family came first and he went back to pouring concrete floors.  An awesome dude.

Whose your fooking whiny snowflake? Where is the sense of humor? Moderate if you must but not with bigoted insults.

Saudi female biker eyes 2022 Dakar Rally. Also a couple of Saudi women prepping in the 4 wheel category. Great news, more empowered than many believe.
