WANTED: Left rear grab handle
« on: September 18, 2019, 08:20:44 am »
Anybody have the left rear grab handle/horn looking thing that bolts on with the rear luggage plate?

The way I run my Enduristan bags without racks, you need to remove these to make enough space for the bags to sit evenly.  It SUCKs wheeling the bike around without something to hold onto at the back though.  I want to try make a stubby grab handle if someone has one lying around maybe.

Spanks!

...it is often possible to buy a 'Universal' clamp-on handle that makes wheeling a bike around WAY easier, we import from Wunderlich (but no stock now), but maybe hunt around for a more affordable one at a spares/accessory store? picture attached of what to look for...

often called a LIFTING handle: https://www.wunderlich.de/shop/en/wunderlich-lifting-handle-foldable-26200-002.html

Hmmmm That might be an option.  The stock handle is fine at the base but then it dips downard at the end and that's where it interferes.   Just don't REALLY want to cut my stock one if I don't have a replacement.

Did this last night....after a couple beers so not my best work haha

Should be better than nothing. Something rigid would still be better though.
