I had f,ollowed your posts about preparing your bike for this trip, and so really enjoyed seeing your pics (of your bike in particular) and hearing your on-sight response to the challenges ... nothing like a solo mission to increase the intensity of the experience.

Thanks for letting us in on this...

Very enjoyable Ride Report and great pics.

Sometimes solo rides are the best. Allows you to clear the head of clutter and focus on that which is important in life.

Well done  :thumleft:

ah cool, would be really cool to ride in a bit of snow.

I think I'm suffering from post trip depression.

a week ago I was playing in the mountains, today I'm back in my 3x4 office with no window  :eek7: :eek7: :eek7:

Post trip depression is a very real thing. Definitely also having a big slump at the moment! Did a short ride on Friday after work. Didn't help much...

Thanks for the nice report  :thumleft:

Seeing a KLE500 on those roads was a fond reminder of the late GlenInk's reports who regularly rode Bastervoetpad on his KLE  :thumleft:
