Have pondered with the idea of fitting a 21 inch front wheel instead of replacing my 2012 GSA . Any information would be appreciated.  Thanks .

I have been there.  I first bought decent Wilbers suspension and then went 21".  I cannot find any issue with the setup.  Handling on and off road was greatly improved - I have the GS though, so the wheel made a positive difference on the geometry.

I ended up buying @Hinksding 's 21" rim.  Before that I sourced a rim from ebay.de.  It would have cost the same in the end to buy spokes (HP2) and swop the hub.  The Behr 21" rims on ebay are from late model R80/100GS' and silver.  HP2 rims work as well, but might be pricey.  I wonder if the new 850GS tubeless rim is the same spec?

With so many 1200gsa  in South Africa one would expect that it would be a easy item to find .

Reviving an old thread. Disassembled tubeless 21' rim plus stainless spokes plus hub for 1100/1150 or 1200 for sale. R3000 or best offer takes it.
