I had fitted a set of Metzeler Tourance tires on my bike , did 17500 k on them , tires still had about 3 mil live left but riding the bike with the rear nice and flat made it feel like the front end was loose , something wrong and I could not put my finger on it. It felt as if the steering damper was not doing its job.
With BTW having a birthday special , I had some new shoes fitted and its like the bike is on rails again , looseness gone , in love with my 1190 again . super chuffed . Conclusion is if your bike start misbehaving , maybe its a sign to get new tires fitted .
