950 up road to hell isn't all that tough. The 1190 took some effort though, but we both made it!

Does this mean the 1190 classifies as a iconic adventure bike now!?





I still think this whole thread is determined by your age. Most bikes mentioned I have zero experience with and also had zero effect to get me onto an adv bike in the first place.

m0lt3n makes a good point, as the bikes that I associate with as a 60 year old will not be the bikes a much younger D/S rider knows and likes.

I grew up with DT and XT's, done a huge part of my D/S riding on these, so my bias will lie here.

Surely not an iconic adventure bike by most's standards but the one I had the most adventures on, and that was a XLV750R (the one in my profile pic) and never should have sold it!
