Yesterday we visited the Franschhoek motor museum with Honda Tygerberg.
On display they had what seemed like the original Captain America bike from the movie Easy Rider.
So I was wondering - how much would this bike have cost Mr Rupert and that is when I came across the fascinating story of this machine.
Probably the most expensive motorcycle ever sold at USD 1,35 million.
But is it real, and is this the real one? Surely Mr Rupert won’t buy a replica, but then again - why would a piece of American history end up in SA.
