He mentions being invited to take part in this year's Roof of Africa and getting guys together for next year's Africa Eco challenge from Europe to Dakar!

Yes, he went West-east, I have done both directions on the XT500, West-east is easiest.  I prefer climbing the worst than descending it.

I like that he actually showed his failed attempts going up the steps.  Wouldve been very easy to edit out the rest.....

Just thought I'd leave this here :)

I am a big fan of Lyndon's travels and his show. We met at the KTM Rally in Swaziland and again when he was in South Africa. Later on he messaged me after seeing photos from our 2018 Namibia trip. He asked me if I could plan his route for him as he loves going off the beaten track. I shared a route with him and he said he'd prefer to not ride a loop, he'd rather go up and then straight through to Angola as he wanted to do the Death Acre as well. I told him cool, I can plan something pretty epic, but you'll have to do Van Zyls pass going up, not down in order to see the best of the Kaokoland without backtracking. Anyway here we are, I am so chuffed I could share this adventure with him! ;D ;D ;D
