So juis hoekom ek so bietjie probeer soek, want Garmin Kaap is nou nie die brightste nie. Alles moet JHB toe.

Nice Write up Dion & thanks for the compliments. Thank You for your help, hope you can get off for next years event. There is a warm up (trainer/qualifier) 4-5 April and the main event 18-20 Sept 2020.

wrt GPS we found it is vibration related beyond the batteries - best solution are the silicone J Mounts they have reduced switching off by 98%. There is a new series out for Etrax and proto type for oregan models.

Only a pleasure! It was really a great event. And a lot of times all the effort and a lot of sleepless nights does not get seen.

Buff and myself have been discussing on a trip, to help with the withdrawal symptoms :imaposer:

As for the GPS issues, we have the J Mounts. And as said, sometimes the units gave issues before the race started, when switching on?
But will check into this.

Will try and be off next year......just hope the dice fall right for me :pot:

how does one become a marshal for this event?  I'd love to see how things work in a rally like this and would like to assist with setting the course and helping out during the race for a closer look into the event.
