Navi cradle phone mount
« on: October 29, 2019, 08:10:51 pm »
Hi. Anyone here have any experience with this phone mount. It apparently clips onto the Navi cradle. And gets power directly from it. I donít have R10k for a Navi and quite like google maps. Hence the question. Thanks

I received mine about a month ago. I find that it holds my iPhone 6 perfectly. My only concern is that the cradle doesn't appear to be completely sealed (especially the USB ports) so I don't know how long it will last before water causes internal damage.

Dunno this cradle or it's mounting, only know iPhones don't like high frequency vibrations, the camera focusing mechanism specifically breaks easily.
Use it, don't....

I have one and it's a good replacement for a BMW Navigator. I echo Gaz's concerns about waterproofing ,though.
And I found that the charging cable needs to be a snug fit or it wiggles loose and you drain your battery.
Go for it - the world is your lobster.
