Biker fatality - Faerie Glen
« on: November 01, 2019, 04:13:37 pm »
Does anyone have information relating to the fatal accident at the corner of Atterbury Rd and Oberon / Jacqueline Rd this morning.
There was a fire engine partly blocking Atterbury Rd going East and about 09:30 I rode past a forensic pathology van loading a body bag
from near a crashed 4-cylinder bike that looked burned up in front.

RIP

Sad really...

When people hear I ride motorbike, they always ask do I know this or that female rider. Most of these women ride Harleys or tourers or speed bikes. We don't move in the same circles, unlikely to meet.

This rider is probably known (and grieved) in other circles.

May s/he rest in peace.

I saw some photos on facebook, but can't find them now - bike and car involved - bike ripped in two and caught fire and then 'exploded' in a fireball

It was near the Faerie glen hospital - I actually rode past there this afternoon - I don't like that part of Atterbury

condolences to friends and family  :'(
