Africa Eco Race 2020
« on: November 14, 2019, 11:03:43 am »
Okay Gents,

So I am definitely no guru on uploading onto the forum but I think we should generate some interest in this rally!
Seeing as we have two of our very own that have been included in Lyndon Poskett's Races to Places team that will be competing come the 04th Jan.
Greg Raaff and Joey Evan are part of the team.
Teams were announced a couple of days ago on You Tube but I have no idea how to load?????

Morning,

Spoke to Greg and Joey on the weekend and they recon that all the bikes are already in the UK (sponsored bikes!!!!) and are currently being prepped.
They trying to get o over the line on the kickstarter for the media team which is under Races for Places and then they can provide a 20min daily post.

Would be fantastic to get that over the line so if possible help out.

Yes , the Aussie is in now ... good luck to him.
I feel sorry for the Japanese guy , what a pity . It was Lyndon's first round choice .

Pretty exited about this. The coverage Lyndon gave of his last Dakar was awesome so I suspect this will be even better.

Lyndon, prepping his bike. It is absolutely insane the level of detail he goes to. A real perfectionist. Amazing.

Eco race getting more popular. I reckon if one or two big teams make the switch to Africa it will have a snowball effect.

Joh! Lyndon got a mean team going there. I wonder what the financial investment has been and implications for riders, if any. Clearly Motorex are the big boys.

Did he have to actually change the project team name Race to Dakar due to the actual Dakar owning the name Dakar?
