SA 3-wheel SCOOTER, who else, other than Yamaha imports?
« on: November 25, 2019, 09:16:46 am »
Hi - CT MAXI Scooter club paid a visit on Saturday...

...we got a customer, 82 yrs young, who rides a 600cc Maxi Scooter, but is now planning to switch to 3-wheel MAXI Scooter, seems the 3-wheel Yamaha is ONLY available in 300-odd c, and he is looking for something more powerful, 600cc, to ride along with his mates in the CT Maxi Scooter club...

If you know of anything else in 3-wheel scoot, let me know, and I'll pass info along to him.

(His name is Tony Bartram)

thanks
Chris

Hi Chris, what about a new Yamaha Nikon 900. Now that's a serious 3 wheeler.
Donovan have tested one a few weeks ago on the Bike Show don't know if they are available in SA.

these 3 wheel scooters are expensive, donner.

I was looking at getting one for commuting at one point. The roundabouts get slippery in winter. prices were eye watering so did nto buy one.
Africa ain't for sissies hey.
