What was your suspension settings?

I don't see a steering damper. How do you do it?

Tyre pressure?

Is the ground clearance enough? And the seat height?

 :pot: :pot: :pot:

Lekkers, man!

:thumleft: :thumleft: Donít complicate things. I donít even have GPS and made a wrong turn on the way back and ended up in a restricted area. Unplanned adventure.

With huge power comes big responsibility 😁

That sounds like something  Laurence Olivier could have said in the musical Time.

I guess with the KC sticker on the top box insurance is waived...

I try to avoid Orlando Pirates terrain. I do, however, have their wrist watch so I can double up as a Pirates fan.

Lekker!
You do not need the fancy bike and do a big trip to enjoy yourself!

I have the ďfancyĒ bike and is a big trip on my mind. But I simply had to start somewhere just to get rid of some of the frustrations.

I bought one like this for my son(same colour) when he was at school after he siesed his DT. At that stage I was bike less and had many a good pub crawl and some dirt rides when he was not looking.

Mine has now clocked over 30 000km.

Wou juis vra of Dwerg se pille en Lucozade betyds afgelewer is.

Dit los ek vir die ander. Ek aanvaar nie die mediesefonds tariewe nie.

Love your writing style - terse and to the point.  Route looks riveting, can you share your GPX file?
Great RR eberhard, thanks for sharing! :thumleft:

It was pointed out recently, and not without merit (no reproach here at all) that I havenít done a ride report myself for long time. This was a very impromptu ride.

I can do a comfortable 350 km on a full tank. But this was a local jol, out on some of the roads east of Pretoria.

Very short, but a start. My first one in about five years. Like they say, a 1000 miles starts with one step (you first crawl before you run).

Well done on finally getting a leg over, and not taking the easy route by avoiding that hectic water crossing :o Looking forward to many more great ride reports :ricky:

Thank you! I would not not know how to map it. The sun was mostly above me.
I am looking forward to a big trip. :thumleft:

Mud can be very slimy and treacherous. Not to be underestimated. It makes you humble. I almost lost it on that small patch. That would have been hectic. Me too glad Iím ok. Thanks.   :thumleft:

No, that would exceed the kerb weight of the bike and also double its value (we live in dangerous times, you know and it helps to melt in with the locals)

The problem with using the neck brace & twat suite on a bike like the Big Boy GGL is that it increases the bike's centre of gravity. The bike comes without adjustable 4 inch handle bar raisers which makes it very difficult to ride while standing...which is what the training place said lowers the centre of gravity  :ricky:
