I have made my final knife purchase of the year in the States

2 x Kizer Sheepdog mini for a friend and my son

2 x olive wood handle stainless ĎOld Bearí medium for myself.
I want to safe them for later since I enjoy the one I bought so much.

And the final treat for myself and this is where I draw the line since I then have way enough:
Buck 110 - personalised with my first and last nam engraved on the wooden handle with a leather pouch
The blade is 420 Stainless which I actually like.
My second ĎMade in the USAí knife.
The other one is also a Buck which my son bought me over here when he was doing agri work in 2019.

I have decided to make new scales for my Delica 4 once back in SA
I am btw a semi skilled cabinet maker

It used to have grey G10 scales, but I swapped for all black at some point.
I have a spare set of these grey scales off my 20CP, if you want them.

Thanks for the generous offer Shark!  :thumleft:

I would have likely taken you up on that offer if my 20CP blade was still in a good enough condition and if I had plans to sell the sprint in itís original format, but that is not the case.

Nice.

I can still remember buying a PM2 a couple of years ago and trying to take the thing apart - red loctite.  :o I hope they're not using that anymore?

Push a hot soldering iron's tip against the bolt/screw for 30 sec, that should release the red loctite

I must comment the S35VN and S45VN steels really touches up easy on my leather strop. 2 minutes on each blade and it shaves hairs again. Love those two steels.

Something I don't understand. I like knives and I like girls, but I have never loved or fallen in love with a knife :pot:

I bought a knockoff lynch clip on amazon for 9 dollars. It looks really good but its really pap. Scared i will lose the knife so i will probably put the original clip back.

Very nice, I don't think people realize just how big they are.
Mine came extremely sharp from the factory, I'm assuming yours as well?
