Garmin's position on your 800
« on: January 26, 2020, 07:55:16 am »
Hey Triumph guys,

I need to put my Garmin I bought in December on "Lady Triumph". I can't use the ball mount because the cradle blocks the USB charger point so I need to make a permanent installation through the ignition system.

Just curious to see where you guys have placed / mounted your GPS units on your bikes. I reckon above the speedo cluster between the screen would be the best place.

Post some pics if you dont mind.
Oh when the Spurs, go marching in, oh when the Spurs go marching in, oh Lord I want to be in that number, oh when the Spurs go marching in.

Come on you Spurs.

Howsit Ozzie,

Awesome man. It is exactly what I had in mind. Perfect place I reckon.

What bracket is that?

I bought it out of the US of A, link:
https://www.srcmoto.com

If that doesn't work, its SRC Moto, very nice piece of bracketing.  The clamp for the GPS is a Touratek item.

cheers
