 :thumleft: the HF stamp is, I'm led to believe, the initials of the factory worker who produced them.

Anyone got one of these?
I used one (not  mine) once , boy that one was strong
expected the wood to crack after some serious chopping - but nothing , no chip marks either

would like to know what wood they typically use (for the handle) if anyone knows?

Can't help unfortunately, but I have also seen many similar models in the DRC and Turkana Kenya
