Had an axe in the garage for ages, had a good look at it today and can make out on the sticker “gransfors bruk”
Looks like a Swedish axe, needs some sharpening.

The real thing, very nice. I find a Lansky Puck works very nice for sharpening axes. Now you need a Bahco bow saw with Bahco wet and dry wood blades.

I have had this tomahawk tool laying around for a number of years, rescued from some dump and wooden grip long gone. I think it was primarily a de-crating tool with an integral claw and hammer. Well it has been restored to its former glory, axe sharpened and new wild olive grip handle fitted. I love the patina and need to work it a bit to get some back where by necessity it was sanded.

Changed my Chogan Tomahawks axe handle, which was a hickory handle, to a wild olive (olienhout) handle.  The handle was supplied by our friend, Joggie.

Did some wrapping and leather on the handle and the wife made me a beautiful sheath for both the Chogan and the Kangee Tomahawk.   Pretty happy with both.

:lol8: :lol8:
