Lekker Louis.

Hy is soos 2SD n 2stroke roadbike man.

:lol8:

Kyk gou post #114 - stel jy belang?

Miskien eerder 240 as dit n nuwe disc is?

:thumleft:

Weettie of jy 'n 240grid flap disk kry nie.

Hein -  I tried the paint stripper method to remove the DLC coating of one of my stock tomahawks yesterday. I don't like it and I think it creates more of a mess than anything else. The grinder method works much easier and quicker. I cleaned it up and gave it an over-hit leather jacket with a leather wrap. This is the spike hawk and you will struggle to get a better close combat & self defense weapon. This one is a give away to any of the members who wants it. Keep in mind that you would have to pay for the courier costs to your address..Who wants it?

Visarend and Kilroy excluded of course

Tx Hardy, will paint stripper work to remove the lacquer on the handle. Want to give it a boiled linseed finish

NNNNOOOOO - That turned into a sticky mess.

Sandpaper - start with a very rough grit and work your way up. Boiled linseed oil works really well. - Raw linseed oil turns the handle reddish which looks shitty

I would not go with a bench grinder. Normal small hand grinder is more versatile imo. I know VA will disagree

Hein - before you start, also check out wood burning on handles on youtube prior to applying the boiled linseed.
