Humble apologies, life happened and I was burying friends and a pet the last few days.

Pic's as promised of the Jagdkommando..  Going to be honest, I am not 100% sure of the manufacturer on the Jagdkommando- thus selling what I paid for it a few years ago.

Gents,  I'm selling 2x knives out of my ""collection"",  both strange cats, not your everyday blades thats for sure...

First is a Jagdkommando triblade.
Price is *sold*.

Second is a Victorinox Swiss Champ -  but with the original pouch as well as the 'survival accessories'.  In original box with original pamphlets.  This knife came into my possession in the early 1990's,  and been in my safe basically ever since.
Price is R1500.

Looks like I'm having difficulty posting photos  - but I'll get that sorted as quick as I can and update post with pics.

Thank you to all that showed interest - the Jagdkommando is *sold*

My anvilís hardy hole is 1 inch/25mm. I spent an entire afternoon moering a piece of torsion bar into submission in order to make a mandrel to drift a hole into a cleaverís handle. Anybody here got some Hardyís thatís surplus? Iíll post it the general for sale as well, just not sure how much explaining will be required

That torsion bar is good steel. If you're not fussy though, next time weld a piece of re-bar into a small section of square tubing that fits into you square hardy hole, and shape it as required. Re-bar is a little harder that normal round bar reinforcing. The advantage is it will take you only 20 min to make the hardy tool, and it is cheap, so can simply just make another one when you need to.

Have had a British 1888 Mk1 Type II Lee Metford bayonet (as per first pic) on my wish list for some time now.... got lucky this past weekend and found one in great condition at a book shop that I frequent for collectable books... am on the lookout for more cutlery from this era.

I must check. My Toppie spent the war in East and North Africa for the whole of WW2 and this was his.
The webbing belonged to someone else

Peter, Looks like a M 1884/98 III and from the ricasso markings the "G" appears to be a date of manufacture being 1935.
The allied forces probably purchased plenty during the pre-war era.

SCABBARD markings front 7541 over d and the back has S 238

Ricasso markings: S 238 G and 7541 over f

The older I get, the earlier it gets late

I really want a Ontartio Cerberus Folder but cannot source one in SA and I am done importing for the year, it's just too costly with import duty.  :(

This thing is apparently solid and a true tool at an extremely competitive price.
