We started off and Gideon was late again (SOME ONE BUY HIM A CLOCK RADIO PLEASE he really peed me off)  :D

There were more members and exstra non member to join us.

This is were we had our first team split, the Couples went TAR and the rest went DIRT, smooth dirt Highways , the best roads to train injured shoulders.  :D

Hier was iets snaaks n 100m geteerde pad in die middle van nerens.

Nog n rook breek en bewonder die natuurskoon

This is were we almost had a spectacilar adventure moment if it wasnt for the arse that put a gate a couple of k's down the road.

The Vaalrivier:

Halve way we stopped at McCools in Parys DONT ORDER COKE!!!

It was a greate day smooth Dirt Highways NO mud
GREATE COMPANY Thanks you all. DD jy sou dit gelaaik het. VOLGENDE KEER doen ons Cullinan ROUND trip, 350km plus

The TEAM then Skattered and only 3 Warriors were left.
Yellow, Groenie en ME.
3 LEGENDS - Ek dink hiers n patroon aan die broei my trips eindig altyd met 3 (dalk moet ek my deodorant check)
Well we did a LOT of TAR on our way back so there is no PICS

Ons het die dag afgesluit met n LANG stuk grondpad aan die einde, WANT ONS KAN.
Ons laaste stop was op die N14.

DIE LEGENDS

Net vir die wat belangstel die PAD.

And my 2c....

I really enjoyed meeting the okes and riding with them on Sunday. It must be difficult for riders of other bikes when a KLR tags along, but Gideon kept his 120 and Groenie could keep up. Although I had to twist his ear quite hard at times to do so. That made me use slightly more sous than I'm used to. I filled up with 20.4l after 400.4 km.

Gideon, we should have gone on to Beitbrug! I only found out later Sunday night that the UK had a banking holiday on Monday, and I work UK time!

But what a nice ride! I felt like I was on holiday for just the one day. Just love that yellow scooter!

And yet another smoke break.

Yes, Ma was seriously pissed off when I only got home at 5, but it's amazing what a leisurely hour in a hot bath with a good book does for a woman! Man, if that's what she does when she's mad at me, I'm going to do a lot of getting her mad in future.........
Don't look back, that's not where you're going.

Great ride and photos - sometimes the easy rides can be the most entertaining :)

Man I love that yellow Ducati, I have never seen one of those before, I don't think they were released in Australia......
