So, I attended a makers course for liner lock folders. Here is my first attempt.
Sjoe! That is lovely! Well-balanced design in the looks dept. I like the unobtrusive way you built in a slide stop on the top of the blade to give a good support for one's thumb when a bit of force is needed. The Psycho is lucky to get Serial No. 00001!  :biggrin:

Couple of questions: With the screw-tops of the pivot for the blade being recessed, wouldn't all those small cavities become a trap for dirt during regular use?  And, with the clip being fairly thick where it attaches to the handle, would it be possible to use countersunk screws to flatten the profile a bit more?

@Exploratio

Thats awesome!
Just a question and it's not meant to detract from your achievement, do you get to forge the blade?
Where are the remainder of the smaller parts sourced ?

Thanks Roxenz. First off, not my design as I know jack s--t of designing a folder. The stop pin is inside a milled track inside the blade.
Dust do collect in any knife, so on this one it will also happen. Very narrow tolerances, so I hope it does not cause problems. If so, disassemble and clean.
I had the choice to recces/countersink the bolts of the clip and elected not to. In hindsight I should have and will do it. This is a VERY steep learning curve.

Now to design my own and attempt to make a working example.

No, the blade is M390 stainless. One can forge you own to personalize it even further. Especially when going the Damascus route.
KMTS sells everything hardware wise. The smaller the bolts, the more expensive it becomes. Funny

Thanks gents, this is result when a master guides you through the process and really shares his knowledge. A lot of room for improvement still. I really wish I started on this journey much earlier in my life.

If anybody has a lead on a affordable (cheap) milling machine, please drop me a PM.

Seeing that the weather over the weekend was SHIT I decided to try the second knife.  N690, Beech-wood Scales, stainless dovetail bolster and white liner and scale insert.
