First knife since lockdown started.
Skinner just in time for this season's first hunt. Made it for a friend, hope he likes it.
Blade 12C27, handle Corian, stainless and mosaic pins.

First time working with Corian. Love it.

Also been wanting to try making knives for years now.  So decided 4 weeks ago, this is it!! Start looking at machines, equipment and saundries -

 >:(GHEEEE ZZZZ the tools of the trade are expensive!!!!!

Inevitable had to sell one of my two wheel babies to fund my new hobby  :( :'(

Machines were delivered Monday, build a werks-hoekie which was finished on Sunday. Installed the machines, lights, etc

First tries - rough grind 80 grid, send to Bohler for HT yesterday - Cannot wait to start the finer details.

Congratulations and welcome. Happy to see you bought the best machines availible in the market today. Once you use these machines designed and built by Jaco de Kock, nothing else will do.

Damn it took me many many tries to get a grind half that smooth.... :'(
