Here are 2 more. Simple little EDC out of 1070 with a deer antler handle, and one of my favourites, 1095 blade, edge quenched with alloy banding on the steel. It's very hard to get this effect right.

So, I was asked by 1 of those horsey people to do a friction folder using a horse shoe for the handle. Was an interesting excersice, as getting a friction folder to work entails building the handle around the blade to make the stop pins work. With a folded horse shoe, the handle is sort of fixed…

Anyhow, to keep it in the spirit of the original friction folders, no epoxy was used.  Blade forged out of a very rusted Land Rover spring and coffee etched. The pins were soldered into place.

Well done Bill, I like that. Clever, original idea. You will need to make a leather belt pouch though, as it is likely to pull your pants down if you carry it around in your pocket  :biggrin:
