Also never heard of them. Fr the CB750 "Boesman", the 810 Yoshimura kits were quite popular, and Honda actually brought out a kitted "900" cc CB in the late 70's/ early 80's, which I believe was a Honda SA

conversion.

For the Kawa 1000's there were many kits like Moriwaki and Yoshimura, ranging around 1170/1270cc.

As promised, some pics of the 1981 Maseru Buff.

First three need no explanations.
The 4th pic was taken on the Friday (?) morning in Richmond where we'd overnighted, it snowed. The red Z1J was mine, I'd only taken delivery of it on Tuesday evening.

The 5th pic....no comment ::)

French kits, big (like in coarse) cooling ribs, the cases had to be machined to allow fitment of the bigger-dia sleeves.
When we ran it in a 24hr Endurance race it blew the oilcooler - which we just took off because it was at night and the race would end early i.e coolish still, take a chance... ::)
It fried some oilseals though, didn't make it.
They were fairly popular in Europe though!

Dixon Racing did my Suzuki GS750B, only out to 810 or 820? they took the IOM racers out to 1050 or 1100 but the sleeves were out in the fins.  :o

When I was working in Aldershot I pulled in there, "Big bore kit, probably need a bottom en rebuild blah blah blah, what motor is it sir Suz GS750, oh forget the rebuild etc I thought it was for a Honda.  :biggrin: :biggrin:
