The guy says that the 360cc car was a prototype that never made production. I don't want to argue, because an old git's memory can get fuzzy after 50 odd years, but I knew a guy in England who had one and I was sure it was an. S360.

Anyway it was a tiny, and tinny little thing that could easily be pushed sideways, and with a very busy sounding engine gave the impression of being very fast.

.........actually it's not beyond the realm of possibility that the one I saw could have been a prototype, because I was in a manufacturers development department. We were building prototypes ourselves and the firm used to buy samples of other manufacturers vehicles for evaluation and a forensic teardown.  After all the testing and analysis was complete sometimes employees could buy them from the company.
That was before GM put a stop to it because someone riding with used tyres bought from the company for a pound each had an accident and tried a lawsuit for damages.

Anyway, like I said the S360 one off could have been a possibility.

Also not sure, but you may be thinking of Mazda's old R360. But I think that was a Japanese home-market only car.

Amazing how language can evolve over such relatively short period, they call that "reverse engineering" these days!
