M109R Riders, please check in..
« on: February 08, 2020, 09:19:39 pm »
Greetings M109 Riders,

Please my I ask for some info from you?  If you willing to share with a fellow prospect..

How long have you owned yours, any issues or quirks?   Average cost of a service at Suzuki?

Have you added any custom parts to yours?

If all goes to plan I'm taking delivery of mine beginning March.

Appreciate your input

not a current owner , had one bought from new 2008 ,sold it 2012 i think

i have a lust for another one .........................  but .................

you have to know the gearbox is a little iffy , that is if you want too use all of the horsepower and torque
i went through two gearboxes , and yes i "abused it" used all of the HP and TQ)
second gear would not stay engaged under full throttle ( after 18000 to 20000 km's) and would pop out )
suzuki repaired the first time , but , the second time not, claiming no warranty ( even though the second time occurred withing two years of original replacement )

a beast of a machine , and otherwise very reliable , no other issues ( except for the rear tyre only lasting 5000 to 6000 km's )
it was verrrrrrrry quick off the mark , and could hold 220 km/h if yer head didnt break off

i had the "cut off exhausts , and the TFI installed , put a sissy bar on ( to hold the girlfriend on the back )

loved that beast , put 55000km's on mine before i sold it
just wanna have fun , and ride ... and ....... ride
