Managed to ding my front rim and spent Monday morning running around Fourways looking for a repair shop in the area. After coming up blank I asked for an estimate from a shop that sends it off on clients behalf & was advised R3.5.
More than I wanted to spend but was doable, the quote now is 5k which does not sound reasonable at all.
What do you more experienced dogs recon a reasonable price is for rim repair? Hell what does a second hand one cost if it's 5k for a fix?
