Before voting I would be interested to know where is the dividing line between large capacity and small capacity.

Seriously, because OK I know that times change, but I come from a time when a 650 twin was a big bike, until 750's came along and initiated the term 'superbike' meaning super size.

But now I read that a KTM 790 is a 'lightweight'.  ???

I chose the BMW 1250 GSA for family trips with Swambo and the KTM 790R for commuting and the rougher off road trips.

For this comparison the split is 999cc

My vote is the KTM 1290 and Yamaha T7, but for some reason can't vote using Tapatalk .

KTM, because I really have a soft spot for anything KTM related and prefer the looks of it compare to the other big bikes.

Yamaha for smaller capacity bike. I don't ride well enough off road to use the KTM to the full. Also prefer the look of the Yamaha this time after seeing it at the bike show I went to.

Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk

No need for 2 votes - the AT1100 gives you the best of both worlds!
It looks great, goes even better and you do not need a chip on your shoulder when riding it!!
Honda is doing a sterling job now in making it accesible to everybody, and they do not misuse their customers as "crash test dummies" like KTM, nor do you have to pay for the badge like BMW and some of their Chinese creations...
And unlike the T7 (probably the oldest bike design-wise in the group except for the Suzuki's), it is actually available...  ;)

Seems like sacrilege to vote BMW and KTM but have now owned both and each has a special place  :love4:

Therefor I voted 1250GSA and 790R. 2/3 that go in my 3 bike garage  :ricky:

Why not the rumoured 700 Kawasaki or the elusive 450 Honda that's 'coming soon'?  :pot:
