Although I had a love hate relationship with my first M.Y. KTM1290SAR, I still think it's the most fun adventure bike I've ever mounted, so it got my vote. The bike will do things the 1250GSA would fall apart trying to do, e.g. rocky climbs in Ouray or Telluride.
Although I've not seen one or ridden one, the T7 has me all hot n bothered. Will its engine be as fun as a 790R? No. But the 790R will be a long term piece of monkey shit compared to the Tuning Fork T7.
Now, if you asked me which bike I'd trust most to take me to Prudhoe Bay and back, it most certainly would not be an English, German or Austrian engineered motorbike, I would most trust either of the Japanese bikes far more. I'd trust a Harley Davidson to get me to Prudhoe Bay and back before I would an over-engineered piece of monkey shit BavarianMoterenDuzentWerke, Triumphofbreakdowns, or KronriefTrunkenpolzMattiJunkKing.
