Leatt 5.5 Boots
« on: February 27, 2020, 09:56:33 pm »
My newish Formas are selling their soles, can have them fixed but doesn't instill much confidence for a crash situation so it's time for upgraded tekkies, I like these new Leatt 5.5 boots and they're well priced, my one month old Leatt ballistic jersey is coming apart at the seems so am doubtful as to the quality of the brand, anyone  got a pair and can provide feedback on the quality?      https://www.fc-moto.de/epages/fcm.sf/?channable=e89554.NDUyNTIyNzIx&ObjectPath=/Shops/10207048/Products/Leatt-GPX-55-FlexLock-MX-Boots/SubProducts/Leatt-GPX-55-FlexLock-MX-Boots-0007&Locale=en_ZA&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIu-_G3L3y5wIVS0HTCh2DnQn7EAQYASABEgJHWPD_BwE
It's the end of the road as we know it and I feel fine.

Saw that these are available from Bikers warehouse. So maybe check there.

These guys were selling out Fox boots for less than the leatts, so possibly consider those: https://mcauto.co.za/collections/clearance

I've had my Leatt suit for nearly 5 years and it's still going pretty well.  Might just be badluck on yours.

I also like those boots man.

Easy, take it back, that's a warranty issue.
Recently bought a Leatt jacket (ventilated offroad type) from Offroad Cycles (was a steal actually) and am VERY chuffed with it - which I actually didn't expect to be honest.

Ja I'm loving my Leatt gpx 4.5 mesh jacket. It is proving to be very durable after 3 years of abuse now.
- you reckon that thing will pop a wheelie? We're about to find out, SLAP that pig!

What do you wear under it?

I mean armor wise. #nohomo

I use the leatt 5.5. body protector underneath. Very comfortable. On hot days I swop the jacket for a mx shirt.
