With my intention of building and selling sidecars, I thought I'd do some feedback for those interested. My 1150 sidecar has now done 10 000km.

This weekend to the FS bash was its final road test. Going there I had a 110kg passenger. The last stretch to the bash was gravel. Initially I rode it gingerly dodging the bumps and ruts. Then I decided WTF and bombed it, if its going to break it must break. Leaving the bash I was on my own on the gravel and gas it a bit. Its a different beast on gravel to keep under control but fun.

Then came eastern FS potholes. After a while I gave up dodging it and just ploughed through at least trying not to hit donga's with the bike. It was rough ride.

I'm now happy my build is strong that I can sell it with confidence. In the next month or so I'm going to strip it and have the frame x-rayed to see if anything shows up. Just for the hell of it and money in the bank.

:deal:
No matter how slow you go, you're still lapping everybody on the the couch

In the next week or two I should be ready to start fitting my first for sale car to a bike. I need a bike. To those that have shown interest, contact me, or anyone else.

Dit sal ons 'n maand of twee besig hou.

Daar is geen haas.

Whilst attending the reveal of the R18 at BMW Umhlanga, I took a few pics of a R9T with sidecar on display, not a BMW product, apparently built by a crowd in Richardsbay
