Horn upgrade for GS1250
« on: February 29, 2020, 06:04:50 pm »
I am looking to upgrade the standard horn on the GS.

What are the options and suppliers?

Like the Denali sound bomb as I have heard it but who stocks it in SA

The Denali Sound Bomb is the best.
We have one for you in Centurion.

The big Denali soundbombs you need new wiring, relay,  fuses  etc etc.

With the Soundbomb Mini, its plug and play and off you go.

Cause the bigger Dinali Soundbombs draws too much power and the canbus kicks it out.

Its the same scenario as trying to run a compressor from your lighter socket on any BMW bike. Does not work.

Yes but why do you need a bigger Tooter?
I seriously don't think I have ever hit that button on any of my bikes

Because Im planning my next long business trip [tax thing] through SADC countries to do it on my bike.

And as anyone knows when in AFRICA you have people dogs, goats, cattle, donkeys, and taxi,s etc to deal with so you need a the noisiest horn available

That is WHY😁
