Baie mooi fotos.
Die verskillende "angles" waaruit jy fotos neem laat die bike baie mooi vertoon.  :thumleft:

Flowers I use a set of Enduristan Monsoon 3 bags mounted on std KTM hard luggage frames.  I also have Tornado (L), think 50l that hold two sleeping bags, two matrasses and pillows that I carry on the back.  Most of the time the missus travels with me. Tornado for bedding and kitchen stuff, one Monsoon each for personal kit.
My tent I carry in the orange Peter King bag for additional protection. Before the Tornado, I also used a Peter King bag on many trips for same purpose.
I also have an Oxford 'soft top box.'

For off the tar, I suggest stay away from metal boxes.

Ek wil hom onthou soos hy was.  Jou fotos is pragtig @Rexc-w, ek bly maar weg uit Suidwes uit want ek weet as ek teruggaan sal ek norramoer ooit weer huis toe kom nie.

Day 7: Mariental, Koes, Aroab, Rietfontein to Molopo Lodge.

I got a little distracted but here is the final two days.

Before leaving Mariental I stopped at Nammeat butchery again to buy more of those yummy Lamb saddle chops for the evening. You have to snack these right off the rooster.

I left town in a south eastern direction along the M29 exploring various D roads to Koes.  I am normally in no rush to get out of Namibia and this day was no different I stopped numerous times to take photos of water along the route, veld blommetjies looking pretty and even looking for little Red Spider Mites (you find them after good rain).

Refueled at Koes.  The dune area close to the pan looked beautiful with new grass and more duwweltjie flowers covering the red sand.  In stead of the riding the C11 I opted for the D611/C14 route to Aroab. The last bit to Rietfontein was enjoyable with the 1190 opening up the throat a few times.  Border post formalities were once again friendly and quick.  On SA side the police wanted to know what I was carrying in the pannier bags.  The sergeant luckily chose to check the side without my lamb chops.  All smiles!!

Hakskeen pan has quite a bit of water. I could see a drop in level from a week before.  I was at Molopo fairly early, and enjoyed two ice=cold Tafel Lagers on the stoep while SIM swopping and catching up with the missus back in Pretoria.  The lamb chops were every bit as good as I hoped for.  Got some nice close-up scorpion pictures.

Below some pics of the day.

Danie one of the guys working at the lodge catches them using a UV light at night.  He had quite a few in various containers.

Day 8: Langpad Huistoe

Vandag weer so 900+km dag met laaste 600km teerpad. Ek was so bly ek het.

Ander lyk of daar niks reen was nie.

Opsommend:
Het so 4500km gedoen oor 8 dae.  Trip was ongelooflik geseend en voorspoedig. Ek het my vrou en my kinders gemis.
